Valentine’s Day makes me so happy about the people and friends around me
– although I’m happy for that every day...
We had a box full of fresh strawberries, which I haven’t got the chance
to eat since last summer and even their scent felt intoxicating! Basically, the
whole day really went making food as well as eating and drinking well. But
isn’t that what holidays are for?
But today, remember a friend and give them a hug!
Happy Valentine’s Day to every one of you!

Style Inspiration: Different Hairstyles & Colors
This post is about my style inspiration (and obsession); hair. The title
says this post is about hairstyles and colors but this is mainly about the
colors, because I like to keep my hair very casual – which recaps the
hairstyles I like in this post; straight, curled and braided.
RED HAIR
As far as I can remember, I have always wanted a red hair – since I was a child. I had to wait for it until I was 16 years old, and then the color was very dark red. After that period of time, I finally got it really bright red!
Here’s some delicious redheads:
BLACK AND WHITE HAIR
If I wouldn’t have a red hair, also what have interested me is black and white hair – the other side completely white and the other completely black, right on the middle of my fringe. But I have understood that it takes a lot of work (too much work) to keep it up so I might just fantasize about it...
RAINBOW HAIR
This hair I don’t particularly desire to myself but I always love watching photos of rainbow hairs – they are so inspiring to watch and to see someone putting that much effort to get a rainbow hair is simply awesome!
So there you go – hair dyes which inspires me (and hopefully also you).
A tiny warning ahead; I will be posting quite many hair-related blog posts in the future... I’m just so obsessed right now! Ha!
This is kind of “reblogged” from my other blog. I have never really paid attention how many views my posts have got but now, when I was about to delete them from my other blog, I saw that some of my hair related posts have got pretty amazing number of views (at least to me)! In these days, between the two of my blogs, those posts would belong here but since there has been such many views I will keep them also in my other blog purely for the sentimental purposes. I know I’m a bit silly...
Note: All of the pictures (except the one of me, of course) are found around the internet. I do not own them!

It's That Time of the Month Again...
I have finally started my hair project, and now after watching my dark
roots long enough, it was time to do something about them. Damn it!
I’ve been buying the same bleach for a long, long time since I’ve been proven that it’s good. I remember standing in front of a wall of bleaches trying to pick one before I found the one I’m using now. I still like to wait some time (about a week) before I dye my hair after bleaching, washing it at least once between bleaching and dyeing, so it’s not too much for my hair. I don’t know whether it does anything but still... If my hair is still not red yet but if I must go outside with ”dyeing-in-progress” hair, it is more bearable to walk outside with light roots than dark, for the contrast is more harsh with my own roots.
My mom always helps me to bleach my hair because I’m such a pedantic person that I could easily use at least an hour just to bleach my roots, which isn’t a good thing because I’m dealing with peroxide...
The bleaching was a success – my roots turned out better than I expected!
Next up it is time to dye my hair back to bright red again! I’m now stuck with my pinkish mess, until I get the chance to buy red hair dye at the end of this week. The tins will probably arrive at the beginning of next week... And believe me when I say; I can not wait!

3... 2... 1... 2015!
I have been waiting for New Year a lot. I always feel like I can start
from a clean table. I have been planning some changes in my life this year and
I feel it is finally time to do them!
On midnight we opened a bottle of sparkling wine and watched fireworks.
I tried to make realistic New Year’s resolutions, which I try to keep. Now I will wish you all a happy New Year. Let’s make it as good as possible!

“The year was 1917...”
... when Finland became Independent. It must be a marvelous year, even I
was born 75 years later!
Yesterday I went to listen to a men’s choir “Mieskuoro Laulajat” at Tampere-talo to "Patriotic Festivities", which is a day before Independence Day. It has become a huge part of my celebration of Finland’s Independence Day!
I got myself ready early and I was not in a hurry, which I usually am... Ha!
We had plenty of time to have a glass of sparkling wine with my godmother before the concert started...
The concert was great as always, even though it was a bit different comparing to the earlier ones I’ve been but I think a change can be good!
My outfit for the night was this:
Today I slept late. On the evening we drank sparkling wine and made pizza while watching The Independence Day’s reception. The whole day went by sooo fast!
I’m proud to be a Finnish and this day is something to be celebrated!

Deathstars @ Klubi, Tampere 27.09.2014
Tonight I went to Deathstars’ gig at Klubi,
Tampere.
I had bought the ticket already on March, right after I heard they were coming to Tampere!
I was going to the gig with my friend, so we met in downtown and went to Klubi. The doors opened at 8 p.m. but we went there just in time to get ourselves drinks and to see the warm-up band “Woland” coming on stage at 9 p.m. – it was a nice kick off to tune up to the feeling. I was surprised they played only for about 25 minutes.
After that we had just the time to go out to the terrace for a cigarette break and chat a little. Just when we went on the bar again and got our second drinks, Deathstars got up on stage at 10 p.m. and we took our places amongst the crowd – it was time for a show!
The band played for an hour and 15 minutes, even though I could have been listening them for much longer! After the gig we got to the long line to get our jackets and left. I went to the taxi pole and we hugged goodbye with my friend and left to the different directions. I got myself a taxi and arrived home at midnight.
My outfit today (I was actually wearing pants for the first time in about five years!):
Sorry for the crappy photos, I use this camera usually filming videos. I try to post videos from the gig as soon as possible to my YouTube account!
P.S. Thank God for earplugs! As long as I can remember, this was the first time after a gig when my ears did not started ringing...
P.P.S. Tonight when I was walking next to the railway station, some guy yelled after me: "redheads won't get into the train!" - oh well...

A Trip to Helsinki
I was in Helsinki for an extended weekend to see
my brother. I left there on Friday and came back today. We had the greatest
time with my brother gaming, watching movies, eating... and well, mostly
gaming!
On Saturday we went out to eat and got ourselves ready...
We went to one of the restaurants in downtown quite late but managed to get a table. We ate well and left near midnight. We went back to my brothers home and gamed some more.
Even we played a lot, we also had time to watch a few movies in the middle. Yes, we did had a lot stuff in our to-do -lists but we didn’t have the time to do all of them. Maybe next time...
Today I left back home with a bus, even I felt I could have stayed with my brother for another day. But I had to go home at some point, so... I had the greatest time with my brother and I can’t wait for the next time we would see!
P.S. Unfortunately I don’t have a picture of my whole outfit.
